About the client

Lettings-R-Us, an independent letting agency based in Frome, Somerset, had a clear ambition: to turn a tired, underperforming website into a digital asset that attracted landlords, converted tenants, and reflected the professionalism behind their growing portfolio.

The challenge

Lettings-R-Us turned to Dentons Digital to rebuild their online presence from the ground up. The brief was simple—create a fast, intuitive website that not only looked modern but performed.

The solution

Website Redesign and Development

Every element, from the homepage to service-level content, was re-imagined with a mobile-first approach, ensuring seamless usability across devices. Smart signposting, updated calls to action, and simplified navigation meant that users could easily find what they needed, whether listing a property or booking a viewing.

A key technical upgrade was the integration of the Property Hive API, allowing properties to be pulled automatically from third-party suppliers—ensuring listings remained accurate, timely, and easy to manage. The build also focused on performance and protection. Improved website security measures, including SSL encryption and hardened server configurations, were implemented to safeguard user data and inspire trust. At the same time, Dentons optimised the site’s speed with clean, efficient code, image compression, and server-side enhancements—resulting in dramatically faster load times across all devices.

Advanced SEO Set Up

Dentons didn’t stop at design. Behind the scenes, a robust SEO strategy transformed visibility. Meta titles and descriptions were rewritten with local intent in mind, content was enriched with geo-specific relevance, and an optimised property feed kept listings fresh and searchable. The site structure was tuned for search, with schema markup, updated XML sitemaps, and a fully refreshed robots.txt to support indexing.

Imagery also received a complete overhaul. Low-quality legacy photos were replaced with contemporary, location-based visuals that gave the site an authentic and professional edge. To ensure lasting results, the client was trained in writing SEO-friendly meta data for new listings, giving them the tools to maintain visibility long after launch.

The results

The results followed quickly. Within six months, the number of front-page rankings increased by 325%. After a year, new user sessions were up 14%, and after two years, total site traffic had risen by 31%. The residential lettings page alone saw a 55% rise in views, a clear sign that the site was delivering for both users and search engines alike.

Lettings-R-Us now has a platform that’s as dynamic and dependable as the service they provide—built not just to look good, but to work hard.
