The Little Flower company is an independent Florists company with stores in Frome and Warminster.
With over 40 years’ experience across the staff, The Little Flower Company is proud to supply flowers to local people as beautiful gifts and expressions of love.
They are also part of the international Interflora flower delivery network and can offer same day delivery through their website.
The Little Flower company were looking for a full website redesign in order to reflect their growth as a company.
They wanted extra features to be added to their ecommerce site, including more specific delivery options, and more visual imagery to show off their designs.
As for being found online, the Little Flower Co wanted to make sure that their local audience could find them when searching for their services.
As an ecommerce site, the main purpose of the website is to drive sales. This was achieved by clear CTAs combined with easy buying options; the user can choose their style of bouquet and then select their own budget.
We surrounded the simple UX with the brand’s naturalistic and rustic feel, in order to reflect the in-store look and feel.
A rustic look with a well-oiled UX
Incorporating the Florist’s own photography from previous shoots, along with introducing the companies continually updated Instagram feed, meant the website was more interactive and in-keeping with The Little Flower Company’s brand.
A fully responsive website also meant that the website would more easily rank in google.
The cherry on top was that we agreed the homepage main image should be changed on a seasonal basis. This works brilliantly to reflect the way that a florist’s stock and most popular items will fluctuate with the seasons.
We implemented monthly SEO updates for The Little Flower Co.
We targeted users searching for “Florist Warminster” and “florist Frome” as these are the two locations where the Little Flower Co has physical stores.
Achieving paid and organic visibility was deemed important to grow the amount of website visits and enquiries in the short and long term.
The new look and functionality of the website means that The Little Flower Company is now more successful than ever.

Little Flower Company currently have 8 first place rankings and 72 rankings on the front page.
The site has 70 key search terms on the front page of google.co.uk and is top in the Google Map for the key searches “Florist Warminster” and “Florist Frome”. The website also ranks very well for searches related to weddings, funeral and special occasions.
Website traffic is up 70% year on year and contact directly via the website is up 38% year on year.
