New Google My Business Tool to Manage Review Removals

Fake Google reviews are an ongoing issue for businesses with a Google My Business listing.

Google have introduced a new way to flag issues with Google reviews and to track the status of your review reporting within your Google My Business listing.

To report a review, visit this link – Google My Business Report A Review. (You will need to be logged in to your Google My Business Account.)

This will open a window that contains your current reviews.

Scroll through your reviews until you find the review you have an issue with, then click on “Report a problem”.

Once you have clicked this box it will open a new window. There are five reasons you can report review. These are:

  1. This review is not relevant to this place
  2. Conflict of interest
  3. Offensive or sexually explicit
  4. Privacy concerns
  5. Legal issue

Select the reason for reporting the review and click on the Report button.

One you have clicked the Report Button you will get a “Thank you!” message window.
