About the client

A Star Service are a carpet cleaning business based in Bradford on Avon, covering North West Wiltshire.

The challenge

The firm came to Dentons Digital because their previous website suffered from an outdated look, slow load times, poor UX, minimal CTAs, and inadequate social proofing – all factors that were impacting user engagement. The website issues were hampering the website rankings and the number of leads being generated by the website.

The solution

Dentons Digital crafted a tailored solution for A Star Service’s new website, prioritising UX, design, and functionality improvements. Key deliverables included:

  • User Experience Focus: Designed with UX as the core focus, maximising lead conversion and engagement. This included introducing a fixed navigation scroll and a new top level menu structure.
  • Mobile-First Design: Optimised for mobile users, ensuring seamless functionality across devices.
  • Optimised CTAs: Redesigned and strategically positioned CTAs to encourage user interaction and drive conversions. Clear CTAs were added to the hero image on desktop and mobile.
  • Enhanced Visuals: Image use was improved to better engage and retain site visitors.
  • Social Proofing: Integrated social proof elements were sited on key pages, reinforcing A Star Services’ credibility. Reviews were added to the hero images on the homepage and location pages. A Google Review widget was added that automatically updates the reviews displayed.
  • Trust Indicators: Trust icons and indicators were incorporated, enhancing brand authority and user trust.
  • WordPress Rebuild: Developed and optimised in WordPress for speed and enhanced user interaction.

The results

The new website coupled with an ongoing SEO campaign have helped to increase the digital reach of the A Star Service website. The number of front-page rankings in Google increased, driving more traffic to the site, and the new design has improved the website conversion rate.
