The Media Library is your website’s repository for storing all of your media files, from images, PDFs to video and music files.
These files can then be added to pages or posts throughout your website.
To view the Media Library, click on the Media link from the left-side navigation.
You will then be shown a list of all of your media files, as shown below:
Adding New Media
You can upload new media files by clicking on the Add New button. This will open up a file uploader window allowing you to choose media from your device.
You can add these file types to WordPress:
Images
- .png
- .jpg
- .jpeg
- .gif
Documents
Audio
- .wav
- .mp3
Video
- .mpg
- .mov
- .mp4
Note your WordPress website will have a set file limit.
Images should also be no larger than 2500px in width.
